CONCEPT
This project involved the design of an office for a non-profit organization, Habitat for Humanity. The concept for the space was the idea of “home away from home” versus a factory-like setting, representing the emotional need of end users for a space that feels like home versus the physical construction of homes and raw materials involved in this process. Materials were selected to withstand a high-traffic environment, as well as to represent the design concept through a difference in color and texture.
INSPIRATION
Hand sketches depicting ceiling treatments and lighting. Ceilings feature a unique grid system with integrated LED lighting throughout the space to unify the design.
