CONCEPT
This project proposes a boutique hotel located in Montreal. The design concept references Montreal’s French ties. My goal with this project was to evoke casual-chic feelings of spending time in a friend’s Parisian apartment with a contemporary, organic feel.
The downstairs lobby and lounge feature comfortable furniture arrangements including vintage European pieces in light and airy finishes. The upstairs restaurant features cooler tones, rich stone and organic furnishings. The unifying form throughout the space is a curved, fluted design featured on the walls, custom furniture, double-height fireplace, and staircase design.
